qatar02 Qatar National Convention Center by Yamasaki Architects: a eco friendly giant tree

Spectacular is not it? This is the Qatar National Convention Centre designed by the Japanese Yamasaki Architects, which will open its doors in 2011.The first thing that came to mind watching the project is a great old tree from the trunk and large branches carried in the year 3000, even though my personal idea is a little crazy, we all have to admit the iconic design and avant-garde This imposing structure which also is the first between the structures of its kind to be awarded the Gold certification “in energy and environmental design green building promoted by the Council of the United States.
