Bell Phillips architects have completed this dramatic steel staircase for a private client in South London.
The staircase is in a double height hall is the centerpiece of internal reform in a Victorian property that amalgamates two-story duplex in a single unit.

The ladder has been created from a complex triangular geometry of folds that seem to float effortlessly in space. These facets are made from 6 mm stainless steel with a brushed finish selected to accentuate the light from the skylight above. An elegant tempered glass balustrade completes the composition.
