Hub House by Shinichi Ogawa
The house is built on a grid modulated in three directions
The home hub Shinichi Ogawa & Associates is built on a grid of 1.5 m in three Dimensions, X, Y, and Z.
The site is a corner of the new residential zone in Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa, Japan.
The building is a composition of a solid cube of 9×9x6 m and an empty bucket of 4.5 x4, 5×6 m
The hall, nursery, and kitchen are designed around the living room on the ground baja.En the first floor, master bedroom, dressing, bathing, are located around the double-height which is the empty bucket of 6 m in height. Light Trap, a garden pavilion in a historic location
Kerkebuurt (district church) in Soest, the Netherlands, is a small historic center has been named as a whole “protected rural area.”
One of the most distinctive buildings in the area is the old “House of Elders”, 1782. Originally consisting of three buildings which were later combined into a home. Its current owner wanted to expand it, but his plans were cut short by the “Rijksmonumentendienst” of the people (an institution which protects the buildings considered monuments). Was decided to build a pavilion in the garden, where once there were two small sheds. The pavilion is in size extra housing. Contains a wealth of storage space and can both be used as guest house or workshop. For its owners primarily means additional interior space for flexible use, equipped with a large terrace partly covered. Read the rest of this entry »
House Salc in Sao Paulo, BrasilBy Frederico Zanelato Architects
The landscape of a native forest reserve in the overall design was a guide in the way both sited as the openings to the environment of Mogi das Cruzes, near Sao Paulo. The field of 12 x 30m has a steep slope, which takes the foliage to deliver greater privacy in the first level. Module 10×10 a Prototype House For Low Housing Needs
The project seeks to develop a prototype system to explore alternative construction materials and construction methods based economic re-use of fiberglass panels retired from the work of other works. These panels were transformed into a flexible modular system for a spatial configuration to the need for each user, designed to meet the housing needs of low income families and also for emergency disaster response or other situations in Mexico.
