In this loft, where structural elements such as exposed wooden beams and bricks, are clearly identifiable, living wisely placed a design that plays on the contrast between timeless black and white.

Spacious, bright, open spaces, large windows (60% of the ground floor facade is made of glass), interesting perspectives and a complex, vividly drawn shaped structure with many square meters of outdoor space – since energy efficiency is only possible if insulation, ventilation and heating systems designed and successive are matched.
The energy concept of architect David Pemsel (dp architectural building biology, Nuremberg) comprises a solar system, a layer tank for hot water and heating water, an air heat pump, controlled ventilation and a fire with water bags and of course a highly insulating building envelope. So that the house comes at a heating demand of only 18 kWh (m² a), the average usage for single family houses in Germany is about 170 kWh (m² a). Read the rest of this entry »
The house is built with three basic materials: exposed concrete, glass and wood on the outside deck. Slabs of different volumes and partitions supported by concrete beams seen inverted and finished with a minimum slope to occur quickly rainwater runoff. H21 concrete was used with the addition of a fluidity for this mix with little amount of water on setting, be very compact and does not require sealing. The few hollow brick interior walls are finished in cement grinding, floor cloths is also divided by cement grinding plates of aluminum. The openings are of dark bronze anodized aluminum. The heating system, since there is no natural gas in the area, was resolved with a system that combines salamander, bottled gas stoves and electric heaters. Read the rest of this entry »

That is surprisingly in the images of the interior design Raiffeisen bank in Zurich, created by the collaboration of two studio, NAU and DGJ. even the overall glance does not seem to to evoke all the environments you would expect to see in a bank, although some details give rise to uncommon interest.
