The curved walls of the exterior of CAFA Art Museum, located at the northeast corner of the campus of the Chinese Academy of Arts (CAFA) is lined with classic Chinese ceramics.
Composed of two surfaces of walls, separated at the end to let natural light into the building through the skylight and large windows.
Above the main entrance, located in the center of the building, you enter a large atrium with large ramps that gradually climb several levels of the museum. Natural light through the glass museum through anti UV treated films.
The traditional Chinese art collection is located on the first level at which you access the ramp. The temporary exhibitions are on the second and third level. Downstairs develop the art facilities.
It has four levels below the zero level, conference space, shop, library, reading room, offices, conservation and restoration.
Technical equipment up stairs and elevators are contained in rectangular volumes, covered in marble.
