The architecture studio A-cero presents one of his latest works in large-scale single-family housing. Situated on the outskirts of Madrid, on a plot of 5,000 m2, is located in a single plant in which almost runs almost all of your living space. We reserve the basement garage, cinema room, utility room and cellar. Its area is 1,800 m2.

The first sensation that causes us to access from the street and introduce the plot is that of a pharaonic work (in the case of a home). What is more surprising is that the building seems to hide in a sequence of plant walls and ramps extend into the deck. These perpendicular walls that form the entrance facade is concrete and dyed splint containing dark gray including sloping landscaped seems climb skyward. This work is located in a private development that is core to how a golf course with stunning views and lush vegetation. Building regulations impede the development of lots with enclosure walls bordering enabling access to the golf course from each of the land. The specific location has a slope that rises from the access road about 3 feet to the end of the batch.

The project idea was based on an important ground motion that would allow housing have access to street level to maintain this height so that the house will apparently buried as it develops. This generates protection walls to direct sunlight.
The property is defined by individual layers of concrete blocks that support a roof plate works and water reservoir. This pond has a thermal barrier function as the average temperature in Paraguay is quite high. Read the rest of this entry »
